Blog write up- 4th march

Blog write up- 4th march
I started my layout for my double page spread and my front cover , making sure that they were both the size that i was looking for. Once i had installed my lines and colums i was ready to start on the front cover.
During the week i had my photoshoot and this went to plan and gave me a range of different pictureres whcih i can use for my media project. It wasa good use of my photgraphty skills as i was able to manover into diffferent positions to get the best out of my pictures and create stories within them.
I am happy with the pictures i have chosen as they give a inviting party look to the front cover or my magazine which is what i intended to do. Alongside this i found a great image for my double page spread as it is sinister and makes the audience think about the image.
I learned from my that if your well prepeard and research the images you want before then you can get way more pictures than expected , i went in with my main ideas and then when i had my models there i came up with many other iernt shots to try and get the most of my time and i leant that it is best to be open minded so that you cann go with what you have and get moe than you expected.

My friends all like the images that i have taken and think that they will look great for what i am trying to achieve in my article ,they also gave me a few idea on what to call my magazine and they where telling m,e some really good headlines.
At the moment my front cover isnt really look like a front cover but i am sure that if i take time to prepare it and creativiely put in sell lines and lay it out popely then it shoudl start to look good.I was not at first happy with my front cover and i decided to change the picture from

i changed it from this

to this

I found that setting up the pages took longer than i expected it to actually do an i was supried at how easy and enjoyable the photoshoot was to i throughly enjoyed t. I also strugled last week to find another name for my magazine , after changing it from Rizzle i changed it to Siren the greek women and this i found fitted the style and look my magazine was looking for.
